shortcut virus is a big problem for all computer users.here is the trick to remove shortcut virus from Pendrive,Memory card or other removable storage without the help of an antivirus.
1.Open Command prompt(cmd)
Go to Start ==> Run ==> Type cmd then press enter.
2.Type the following command.
attrib -s -r -h /s /d e:*.*
'e' stands for your pendirve or external HDD(Dont forget to change the drive letter which is showing for your pendirve/Ext HDD)
Then Press enter.. Then move the Files from your Pendrive to any other location. Format the pendrive and copy back the files to the pendrive.
(Donot open the virus affected pendrive in your computer).
